Yoga Space 50hr Restorative and Yin Training

  • Our 50-hour Restorative + Yin Teacher Training is designed to unfold over two consecutive weekends, allowing students to dive into each modality fully, with space in between to reflect on their uniqueness. 

    Throughout the 50-hour program, students develop a strong foundation in the postures, but more importantly learn the method to create the necessary atmosphere for students to arrive at deep relaxation. 

    Investment

    Tuition: $1,395 (early bird: $1,150; ends November 1)

    A $500, non- refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Payment plans are available. 

    Tuition includes an unlimited, all access membership to our studio, providing you with full access to all 4 locations. 

  • Training Schedule: January 22-31, 2027

    Fridays: 5-9pm

    Saturdays: 10-6pm*

    Sundays: 10-6pm*

    *Each weekend day includes a 1-hour lunch break

    Training will take place in person at our Greenpoint studio at 738 Manhattan Avenue in Brooklyn.

    Independent study: 10 hours total

    Includes weekly personal practice requirements, homework and assigned readings, journaling and reflection, & practice teaching and observation. 

  • The curriculum includes:

    Asana and Alignment: In-depth study of postures that focuses on safe and functional alignment, effective breathwork, use of props, and modifications for different bodies.

    Teaching Techniques and Skills: Focused guidance on how to teach clear, confident classes. Students practice effective cueing, skillful demonstrations, sequencing and themes, hands-on assists, and holding space with presence and awareness. 

    Pranayama, Meditation, and Mindfulness: Techniques that support focus, calm, and self-awareness.

    Body Systems in Relation to Restorative + Yin: How the body responds to these practices, and what the benefits are. How to teach from a trauma-informed lens when handling students in stillness and silence.
