Youβll be asked to participate in discussions, teach, practice, reflect, and support others as they do the same.
Beyond showing up physically, this training calls for a personal commitment to self-study, integrity, and community. The more consistent your presence and energy, the more youβll gain from the experience. To graduate and register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200, trainees must complete:
All required hours (contact and non-contact)

Many trainees join the program simply to deepen their own practice or to better understand yoga as a way of life. You donβt need to plan on teaching professionally to benefit from this training. That said, learning to teach is an important part of the curriculum and one of the most powerful ways to embody what youβre learning. Guiding others helps you find your voice, refine your understanding, and build confidence in your own practice. Even if you never lead a public class, youβll leave with skills that enrich how you communicate, hold space, and connect with others in every part of your life.

All in-person sessions, including Friday nights and weekend days, will take place in our Greenpoint location at 738 Manhattan Avenue in Brooklyn.

We expect to have around 15-20 students in the cohort. We have a maximum class size of 25.
Youβll also become part of a dedicated community of trainees and teachers who learn, practice, and evolve together. The friendships and shared experiences formed within the cohort often become one of the most meaningful aspects of the journey.
-
Not necessarily. This training is designed for students of all levels. However, we do recommend having taken at least 10 HIIT Pilates (or similar) classes so you are familiar with the movement patterns of a HIIT class. Teaching high-energy classes like HIIT Pilates also requires your own energy. Taking 3-5 active classes a week leading up to the training will help build the stamina needed to show up energetically for your students while you lead class. What matters most is a genuine interest in learning and a willingness to grow!
-
Yes, absolutely. This training is designed to fit within a working schedule.
Sessions take place on weekends (Friday evenings, and full days on Saturday and Sunday). Once the full schedule is finalized, weβll be happy to share it with you.

The HIIT Pilates teacher training will be led by Perri. Perri holds a 50 hour certification in HIIT Pilates as well as a 134 hour certification in classical mat Pilates from Balanced Body. In addition to Pilates, Perri is also a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.
Perri moved to New York City from California three years ago. Since moving, she has cultivated a large, dedicated following of students across the city. Perriβs classes integrate classical Pilates repertoire into a fun, upbeat full-body workout class that keeps clients moving, sweating, breathing, and grooving. She believes in creating a welcoming space that encourages students to find their personal edge physically and mentally. Each class encourages you to grow stronger, breathe deeper, and push harder.
